Sites In Crete

A trip to Crete would be a nice addition to a trip to Greece because it is covered in history. And though for this particular trip I have been encouraging everyone predominantly to go see Zeus's temple because he is the head God, because Olympia is the site of the original Olympics and because it has an open archaeological site coming to Crete would still be a good place to come because the Minoans were some of the original settlers even before the people in Athens and Olympia so it is cool to come and see a culture that is even older. For the record though this part would have nothing to do with the Greek Gods since they prodomanatly worshiped the snake God and this portion is only in here because I think that people would enjoy these sites and it works with the time period that I am encouraging people to see.
